ABOUT US

Fieldhouse Builders is a family business run by Ben Fieldhouse and his partner Claire Findlay.

Ben is a qualified builder and Licensed Building Practitioner with over 17 years experience in the industry. He began his career in residential building in Auckland, where he has worked on a range of projects right up to high end architectural builds on Waiheke & Great Barrier Islands respectively. Throughout his career he has also worked as a site manager on large scale commercial operations in Auckland.

Bens' strengths are his diverse experience, high level of workmanship, and his keen eye for aesthetics right down to the smallest finishing details. He is extremely knowledgeable, a great problem solver, and adept at finding cost effective and workable solutions. Ben is 'on the tools' full time alongside another qualified builder and apprentice, and will be onsite bringing your build to life, overseeing it every step of the way.

Claire comes from a corporate design background and brings a unique skillset to the table. Claire manages the day to day running of the business including customer service, pricing, product sourcing, and general office operations. Claire has a strong interest in Architecture and Interiors and is well on the way to completing an Interior Design qualification.

Fieldhouse Builders was born when Ben and Claire relocated to the Winterless North in 2017.
